Follow the journey of The Third Date Curse Script from the mind of the artist to the big screen!

A young woman comes to believe her love life is cursed after driving into her hometown "love tree" during high school. Since that fateful accident, her hopes for love are dashed in silly and disastrous fashion every time she has a third date. She must complete five tasks - some outrageous while some soul-searching - to lift the curse which becomes a journey in self-discovery. She learns that although love can be a mystery and magical, it requires taking risks, and overcoming one's fears and boundaries.

The first draft of the script begins in February followed by many revisions throughout the year with the help of friends and family giving feedback.

2011

The Third Date Curse script receives recognition as a finalist in The Next 15 Minutes screenwriting contest sponsored by ACT NOW foundation. The first 15 minutes of the script is read on stage at South Oxford Space, 138 South Oxford Street in the Great Room in Brooklyn, NY.
